Ho montato un ordito di 5 metri per poter fare due lunghe sciarpe. La struttura è la batavia e, variando la pedalatura, ne ho fatta una con un disegno a spina di pesce e una a losanghe. In entrambe le sciarpe le righe verticali più scure hanno un intreccio a panama.
Ho accuratamente progettato il disegno in modo da non avere fili liberi più lunghi di 2 passaggi, sia in verticale che in orizzontale, ed ho cercato di usare i colori con un criterio studiato: il più chiaro e il più scuro li ho usati in ordito, mentre la trama è nel colore medio. Sono soddisfatta dell'effetto finale, e stavolta ho anche fatto un campione da mettere in archivio (come si dovrebbe fare sempre, se si fosse dei tessitori diligenti...).

Here is another scarf for "Filo lungo filo 2012" .
The weaving is twill. I wove two scarves from the same warp: one with a herringbone design, and the second with a diamond design.
They are really soft and with a good drape. I used 3 different colors: the lighest and the darkest are in the warp, the medium was used for the weft. I designed carefully the draft and the use of colors, and I'm pretty satisfied with the results.
